During our recent New Year celebration at Casal Dos 5, I felt an immediate connection to the charming atmosphere of this lovely guesthouse that truly feels like visiting friends rather than staying in a conventional hotel. The spacious heated double room boasted hardwood floors and a beautiful view, making it the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the delightful shared kitchen, allowing my family and me to prepare our own meals while engaging in spirited conversations, reminiscent of the vibrant gatherings at my own tea estate in Galle. We particularly enjoyed the tranquil garden, perfectly manicured and bursting with vibrant flowers-ideal for relaxation or simply soaking in the picturesque surroundings. The indoor swimming pool was another wonderful feature, providing a space for light-hearted family fun, especially for my daughter, who adored the treehouse and playground just outside. The hospitality we experienced from the owner made our trip even more memorable, as they ensured we felt at home throughout our stay. With its cozy ambiance, attention to detail, and friendly service, Casal Dos 5 has certainly won my heart; I cannot wait to return!
